We’re repeating our refrain about vampires, but we continue to be impressed with how many permutations the genre can successfully handle. Another example comes in the form of the announced South Korean drama Bite Sisters, starring actress Kang Han-na (most recently seen in the series My Roommate is a Gumiho). In the new show, she plays 821-year-old vampire Han Yi Na who cannot abide when injustices are perpetrated on innocent people. Through a turn of events she finds herself transformed into a trendsetting influencer who gains over a million followers on social media. She decides to use her vampiric abilities to help those in need, sounding like something along the lines of The Equalizer with fangs. The series is coming to YouTube on October 19.
