Part of the anthology book Vampires Never Get Old was the V.E. Schwab short story “First Kill,” which is being adapted into a Netflix series. Sarah Catherine Hook plays Juliette Fairmont, a teenage vampire who must achieve her first kill so that she can truly become a part of her family of vampires. Problem is that her intended victim, Calliope Burns (Imani Lewis), comes from a long lineage of vampire hunters. They try to destroy each other, somewhere along the way actually developing romantic feelings, thus complicating the situation. Sounds like Eve with fangs to us.
Serving as executive producers are Emma Roberts and showrunner Felicia D. Henderson, with Schwab enlisted as an executive producer as well.
The cast on the Burns’ side includes Aubin Wise as Talia, Jason Robert Moore as Jack, Dominic Goodman as Apollo and Phillip Mullings, Jr. as Theo. For the Fairmonts, the cast features Elizabeth Mitchell as Margot, Will Swenson as Sebastian, Gracie Dzienny as Elinor, Dylan McNamara as Oliver, Aubin Wise as Talia, Jason Robert Moore as Jack, Dominic Goodman as Apollo, Phillip Mullings, Jr. as Theo, MK xyz as Tess, Jonas Dylan Allen as Ben and Roberto Mendez as Noah.
